Hand tied extensions
IBE method, fitted and blended to your own hair rather than sold as a single package. This is the work Shauna is certified in and the reason most out of town clients make the drive.

Lived in color and balayage
Color built to grow out slowly, so you are not back in the chair the moment your roots move. It is the most requested color work in the studio.

Color correction
Undoing color that did not go to plan. It is the most technical thing we do, and it almost always takes more than one session. We will tell you that up front.
How Long Branch books with us
Our Long Branch regulars are the spine of the week. A large part of the book is in every four to six weeks for roots, and blonding is the single busiest thing we do.
Summer changes the room. Long Branch fills up with the shore season and our out of town clients, most of whom drive down from Brooklyn, come in more often. If you are local and you want a summer Thursday evening, book it further out than you think you need to. Thursday is our only late night.

Questions we actually get asked
Should I come to my appointment with dirty hair?
No, and this is the myth we correct most often. Come with clean hair. Arriving with days of product and oil in it makes color harder to place accurately, not easier.
How many sessions does a color correction take?
Usually more than one. A correction is about lifting out what is already in your hair without wrecking it, and that is paced across sessions on purpose. We will map the whole plan at your consultation so there are no surprises halfway through.
Do I need a consultation before I book extensions?
Yes. Extensions and any large color change start with a consultation. We look at your hair in person, talk through what you actually want, and give you an exact price before anything is booked.
