Beth Cohen is Shade Studio's salon coordinator. She runs the front desk, the booking and the day itself, and she is almost certainly who you will speak to first.

Beth coordinates Shade Studio. She runs the front desk, manages the booking and keeps the day moving, which in a small studio is most of what decides whether your appointment feels calm or rushed.

She is the one who will help you find a time that works, talk you through what to expect before an extension consultation, and make sure the products your stylist recommended are actually in your hands when you leave rather than mentioned and forgotten.

Beth does not take clients at the chair. If you need to change an appointment, ask about a service, or work out who to book with, she is who to ask.

Your first visit with Beth

Beth is who you will speak to first. If you are not sure which service you need, or which stylist to book with, ask her rather than guessing from the menu. Getting that right at the booking stage is most of what makes an appointment go well.

She is also who to ask about moving an appointment, what to expect before an extension consultation, or getting hold of the products your stylist recommended.

What Beth can sort for you

Most of what decides whether an appointment goes well happens before you arrive, and almost all of that runs through Beth. Which service you actually need, which stylist suits it, how long to allow, and whether you need a consultation first.

She also handles the parts people find awkward to ask about: moving an appointment, what the cancellation terms actually mean, whether a product your stylist recommended is in stock, and what to expect on the day if you have never had extensions before.

If you are driving in from out of state, tell her when you book. About forty percent of our clients do, and the day goes better when the schedule is built around the drive rather than around our calendar.

That is exactly what to ask her. Describe the problem rather than picking a service name off the menu and she will route you correctly.

Can I buy products without an appointment?

Yes. Call ahead and Beth will have them ready.
